Free Join the Dots Birthday Greeting Cards...

Our free Join the Dots Greeting Cards are currently available for Birthdays. They are great fun, and, along with our dedicated pattern of learning, they ensure success.

Paper size

We supply 2 pdf files of Birthday greeting cards: one for 8.5inch x 11inch paper that is commonly used in the US and Canada; and the other for A4 paper used in the UK and most other countries. It is important to use the correct file for your paper as the images on the card are centered for that specific paper size.

Note: It is advisable to download only the pdf file for the paper size that you will be using so that you don't get them muddled up!

Tips for Learning

Clearly a child can complete the shape of the fruit without looking at the numbers whilst they join the dots, but the activity gives a reason to look at each number, to say them aloud, to learn their ordering sequence and maybe notice one to one correspondence as they are joining up the dots...

Introduce History by encouraging thoughts about Birthdays, and the past, when they were babies, now they are children, and maybe a card for Granny who is very 'old'; and talk about people's emotions on their Birthday, will they be happy or sad to get a Birthday greeting card?
