Autism and Language

Introduction
Human development is fairly predictable. We tend to confront milestones in a set sequence. However, I suggest that in Autism, it is the reasoning behind the milestone that produces the outcome, and not the milestone itself. It is in this regard that autistic behaviour differs from 'normal' behaviour.
